For student clubs
Put your club on candid’s early list.
For officers of any student club: finance, consulting, tech, pre-professional or any other. On candid, students will record a 60-second video pitch that recruiters see before the resume. It’s coming soon and not open at any school yet. Sign up as an officer, confirm your email, and your club is on the early list.
Sign up your clubOpening campus by campus, starting with clubs
We’re opening campus by campus, starting with student clubs. We aren’t giving dates yet.
What your members get
Here is how it will work. Each member will record a pitch of up to 60 seconds in their own words, watch it back, and post it when they’re ready. They’ll be able to re-record it as many times as it takes.
When a recruiter looks at a member, the pitch comes first. The resume, if the member adds one, will sit on their profile one tap behind the pitch, as the second look.
Each member will see how many recruiters watched their pitch and which companies saved it. They’ll be able to apply to roles with the pitch they already made. All of this is free for students. See what candid looks like for your members.
What it costs your club
Nothing. Employers pay for candid; clubs don’t, and students are free to be seen.
Nobody can pay to be seen first. No member, club or sponsor can buy a place ahead of anyone else. We will never sell student data either. Read our promises.
How to sign up your club
One officer’s sign-up is enough to start. Choose Club on the sign-up form. Give us the club’s name, your school, your name and your school email (the one ending in .edu). The number of members is optional.
After you sign up:
- We email you a link to confirm your address. It works for 48 hours; if it runs out, sign up again for a new one.
- The link opens a page with a Confirm my email button. Once you press it, your club is on the early list.
- We look at each sign-up ourselves.
- We’ll be in touch about opening at your school.
Where the first pitches go
When candid opens, the first student pitches go to a small group of employers, chosen for fit. See how employers join.
Questions
Does it cost the club anything?
No. Clubs pay nothing; employers pay for candid.
Does signing up the club sign up our members?
No. Each member signs up as a student with their own school email, and they can do that now. If you want a pitch of your own when candid opens, sign up as a student too.
Can more than one officer sign up?
Yes, each with their own .edu address. You don’t need more than one.
What kinds of clubs can sign up?
Any student club, whatever its focus, as long as the officer signing up has a school email ending in .edu.
Is candid open at our school yet?
Not yet. We haven’t opened at any school.
How is this different from our resume book?
A resume book is a file the club puts together. On candid, each member will speak for themselves in a 60-second pitch, with any resume they add a tap behind it. They’ll also see how many recruiters watched and which companies saved it.
Does candid replace our sponsors or employer events?
No. It will add one more way for each member to be seen.
What happens after I sign up?
Confirm your email within 48 hours, from the link we send. Then we look at each sign-up ourselves.
